I have a very small wrist and I thought that it wouldnt matter with an adjustable strap, but it doesnt get small enough.I am not going to return the watch, but I do wish it was a better fit. The face of the watch is beautiful and the watch is much better looking in person than in the pictures. It is a nice neutral color that matches most anything and will never go out of style. My fiance saw it at a dept store and thought I would like it. He found it for much cheaper through Amazon, than at the dept store. I wish I would have gone into the dept store and tried it on before I bought it for the wrist strap sizing. It is a great looking watch that comes in a nice box. She was impressed. Unfortunately, within a year, the signature Burberry pattern from the band started to peel off. It is a sort-of plasticized coating on top of the leather, so it started to crack and peel. Not the whole thing, but part of it. It was salvageable because the problems were mostly on the part of the band that went underneath her arm. Then, one fatefull day she dropped the watch while putting it on. We have hard wood floors and the drop was from about 4 or so feet off the ground. The glass cracked! I'm not sure how that sounds to you, but I've dropped far cheaper watches from that height or higher and nothing happened. I regret buying this watch now. The allure is the band and it won't last long. The general quality is cheap. |
