The Invicta Women's 1158 Ceramics Collection White Dial Ceramic Watch is a very interesting, very large and heavy watch. It arrives in a very yellow, very large display box which also houses a manual and numbered warranty card. I imagined that the checkered pattern on this watch would be black, it's really a dark gray and quite attractive. The large numbers are proportional with the size of the watch and the hands are a perfect complement to the face markings. I'm fond of ceramics and have admired a Tag Heuer white ceramic watch recently, so receiving this one was a fabulous opportunity. The simplicity of a face without any extras was appealing to me because I wanted the watch for time and no other data. The white is very pure and clean, easy to wipe down. The clasp is fantastic, simple to operate and very secure. The movement is quiet, with no discernible ticking heard as the second hand progresses.My wrist is a little less than 6 inches and I've been wearing this... This watch is alright. I would have liked the band better if it didn't have the checkered pattern and was just plain white. The pattern on the face of the watch is fine. That's just me, though, I prefer a simpler style. Also, generally I have always bought watches with a leather band. This watch felt heavy and clunky on my wrist, in part because it didn't fit snugly. These are just personal issues, though.
