I love the look and size of this watch. I like larger women's watches and had a hard time finding a sporty black polyurethane banded watch. However, this watch is NOT waterproof nor water resistant. I was VERY disappointed as I wanted this watch for work and sport. I own two other Michael Kors watches both of which are dressy watches and they both are waterproof. I just don't understand why this one is not when it is more sporty than the others. Also, I had the watch for about 8 months and the small piece that holds the end of the watch band down in place tore off, leaving the tail end of the band flapping around-very annoying. I tried getting it fixed through the company but it wasn't covered under the warranty. Really?! I know two other people who have the same watch and the same piece broke at 6 months and 11 months for them. Michael Kors company (same as Fossil) said I could pay to have the whole band replaced. Light weight, classy and can be worn dressy or casual. The rubber band does collect a lot of dust but if you don't mind cleaning it often - then it's the perfect Black Watch! I also have this watch in white and give it the same review - it's the perfect White Watch! |
